3D Design and Modeling

This hands-on course introduces children to robotics, electronics, and STEM concepts using kid-friendly kits (LEGO Spike Prime, micro:bit, or Arduino-based blocks). Students design, build, and program robots that perform tasks, learning problem-solving, logic, and mechanical thinking.

Benefits for Children:

  • Gain hands-on 3D modeling experience.

  • Build objects for printing or digital projects.

  • Develop portfolio-worthy creations.

Benefits for Parents:

  • Encourages spatial reasoning and engineering thinking

  • Skills transferable to architecture, gaming, and animation.

  • Teaches practical, creative problem solving.

Lesson 1 - Intro to 3D Space & Tools

Learn navigation, shapes, and interface basics.

Lesson 2 - Basic Shapes & Object Creation

Students create simple models using primitive shapes.

Lesson 3 - Scaling, Rotating & Grouping

Combining objects to form complex designs.

Lesson 4 - Materials & Colors

Applying textures, colors, and basic materials.

Lesson 5 - Complex Modeling

Designing multi-part objects or characters.

Lesson 6 - Export & 3D Print Prep

Prepare models for printing or rendering.

Lesson 7 - Final 3D Project Build

Students work on a personal model (toy, building, or scene).

Lesson 8 - Showcase & Portfolio

Render, present, and explain their models.

Final Project

“3D Model for Print or Animation”

Students create a fully designed 3D object (toy, miniature, or character) that can be printed or used in a digital animation. Project demonstrates spatial reasoning, design thinking, and mastery of 3D tools.
